A while ago we mentioned something that happened to Radek – an employee of our partner, the Overfly brand. His e-bike was stolen… but that’s not the end of the story. Thanks to the notiOne GPS Connect, tracker fitted in the bike at the factory, it was quickly located and recovered.
Today we invite you behind the scenes of this incident for a short chat with Radek, in which he tells us how the whole operation unfolded: from the moment of the theft right through to the happy ending.
Theft, response, location – and a recovered e-bike
From Radek’s perspective, everything happened in a flash. The bike disappeared, but the tracker’s position was being updated in the app in real time. A few taps, a report to the police and… the bike was back with its owner.
The whole situation shows that good protection isn’t just about a lock. It’s also about technology that works when you really need it.
How does notiOne GPS Connect work?
It’s a small GPS tracker mounted inside the bike and fully integrated with its power supply. As a result:
- there’s no need to remember to charge it,
- the device works non-stop,
- the bike’s position can be tracked in the app to within a few metres,
- you can set a motion alert and receive a notification when someone moves the bike.
